We Are Really Keen To Explore More Wellness And Nutritional Aspects Of Cooking And Eating In 2022 And Excited To Announce Our First Nutritional Workshop Date.

The First Of Our Wellness Educational Workshops Will Be On April 1st 10am

This session will be Exploring Ayurvedic Nutrition
Learn which foods you should be eating to suit your body type based on your primary Dosha.
This is a wellness educational workshop to learn about the body’s subtle energy flows, otherwise known as Doshas.
Ayurvedic principals teach us that all people have a combination of all three doshas, but usually one dosha is dominant or primary and this will influence how we digest our food and extract nutrients into our cells.
Eating the correct foods to balance with your primary dosha type, can have huge health benefits and act as natural medicine for your body, creating harmony in the body, mind and soul.
The question is “What is your particular body type and how can you balance these dosha energies by changing your diet and lifestyle for optimal health.
This workshop is all about teaching you the ayurvedic principles around the 3 energy flows (doshas) and educating you about the foods and nutritional compounds that fall into each of the dosha categories. With this knowledge you can eat and live according to your dosha for optimal wellbeing.
April 1st 10am- $55pp- tickets on sale now in our calendar.
With international speaker and ayurvedic physician and Nutritionist Dr Karuna Jaiswal.

So What is your body type? Vata, Pitta or Kapha?
Ayurvedic medicine is a traditional Indian medicine, which is 5000 years old. It’s recognized by WHO and is practised all over the world.
Ayurveda recognizes three basic types of energy, or functional principles that are present in humans. These are vata, pitta and kapha.
These principles can be related to the basic human physiology of the human body concerning energy and the five basic elements of life.
The five elements are space, ether, water, fire and earth. They combine in their natural form to vata-space and ether, pitta-fire and water and Kapha -earth and water.
Energy plays an important role in our life as it creates movement, enabling fluids and nutrients to reach the body cells to function effectively.
We need energy to digest our food and extract the nutrients into the cells which lubricate and maintain the structural formation of the cell. Our daily activity is governed by these three subtle energies in different forms.

· Vata is the energy of movement and helps in breathing ,thinking and speaking.
· Pitta is the energy of digestion or metabolism and chemical changes occurring in our body.
· Kapha is the energy of lubrication and maintaining the structural composition of human cells.
All people have a combination of all three doshas, but usually one dosha is dominant or primary, other is secondary and the third could be less prominent. The cause of disease in ayurvedic medicine is known to be lack of proper cell function due to an excess or imbalance of vata, pitta or kapha dosha.

Join us on 1st April at 10.00 am to hear about these energies by international speaker and ayurvedic physician and Nutritionist Dr Karuna Jaiswal, who is an authentic ayurveda practitioner who studied at the University of Delhi, India and moved to Australia in 2007 with her husband and two kids.
