The Sticky Rice Villas are the newest accommodation in the Adelaide Hills and they are creating a buzz amongst romantic couples old and young who want a luxury hotel feel with the convenience of self catering accommodation and holiday house facilities close to Adelaide. The new villas are ranking top in romantic accommodation and the wedding season starts with our first wedding night this weekend. The newly weds will be staying 2 nights in the luxury of Yoko Villa and have packaged it up with a cooking class so they can enjoy both the social class and the private retreat that their villa provides behind the enclosed courtyard and garden walls.
The blossom is in full glory in the Yoko Villa Garden for spring and yet as the evening draws in the log fire pit beckons, promising romantic ambience after dark.

The villas are self catering and the couple can enjoy the use of the state of the art Jag kitchen with its induction cooktops, full top of the range Electrolux fridge and appliances, including a coffee machine for the coffee connoisseurs.
Since opening in March 2013 there have been numerous marriage proposals in the villas and our staff are always happy to help with the big surprise. Flowers, champagne, chocolates and a private chef for your villa can all be arranged for that special occasion.
Our private chef degustation dinners mean that one of our top professional chefs comes to your villa to cook 4 courses for you and your partner. You can invite other friends too if you like with Zen Villa allowing up to 8 to dine. Each delicious course (chosen by you) is matched with premium Adelaide Hills wines and you can sit back and relax or join in and make it more of a private cooking class.
With three villas all together the hotel apartments are ideal for group accommodation with the ability to sleep three in Yoko and Zen Villa allowing luxury accommodation for 8 in total across all three villas.

What a fantastic experience. This was our first cooking class and we’re already planning our next cooking adventure with Sticky Rice. Yukio is an excellent instructor. The menu was well planned. We had a lot of fun and learned so much. Thank you Yukiko and Daniel for all your hard work.

We did the Japanese Essentials. excellent chef guide in Yukiko. food was excellent quality and class was a lot of fun. Daniel was a delightful host. We stayed in the Bali villa which was beautiful and relaxing. Wonderful get away.

Fabulous Middle Eastern Cooking class with Genevieve Harris. Wonderful day cooking a delicious menu of Hummus and flat bread, Chermoula chicken, Harissa marinated Prawns,with a beautiful eggplant and tomato salad, and bbq lamb skewers marinated in Hilbeh served with baby spinach, pomegranate seeds and yoghurt sauce.
Then deep fried almond pastries with honey and orange blossom syrup.
All served with lovely wines or fruit juice and water.
Fabulous day, heaps of fun and staying at the villas made the walk home very easy.
